Boys’ Brigade & Girls Association - Adventurers

Boys’ Brigade Adventurers is the latest addition to our children's work for any children in school years 2 to year 6.

We are part of the 1st Alderholt Boys’ Brigade run by the Chapel and meet every Thursday for a lively mix of games, crafts, challenges and of course, the tuck shop.

Each week we also take a look at a Bible story or theme, discovering what God says and what we think about it. Among other things we have played volleyball, enjoyed a film night and made gingerbread Adventurers!

We have also ‘Gone Ape!’ at Moors Valley, been sand-sledging at Moyles Court and got soaked at our big-water-fight-night!

Adventurers earn Boys’ Brigade badges by completing activities in 5 different areas:

Body - Fit for fun;
Mind - Think and do;
Spirit - God and me;
Community - Me and my world;
Creativity - Make and do

These awards are presented at our annual awards service in July.

Adventurers is all about having fun, making friends, enjoying lots of activities and trying new things. If this sounds good, we'd love to see you so come along and let the adventure begin!
